What animals eat krill?

One of the smallest animals in the ocean is important because it is a primary food source for so many larger animals.

Like penguins, many whales make krill the main part of their diet. All baleen whales filter feed in order to eat tons of krill every day.

Squid, seals, and countless numbers of fish species also make the tiny crustaceans a key part of their daily diet.
